Mana Carvalho is a sophomore punt returner from Laie, Hawaii, who attended Kahuku HS as a three-star recruit. He made his Utah debut at West Virginia in 2025, appearing in nine games as a returner. During his freshman season, Carvalho accumulated 212 punt return yards on 17 returns, averaging 12.5 yards per attempt with one touchdown. He returned a punt 75 yards for a score against Cincinnati and also recorded a punt return touchdown against Colorado. Carvalho was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention and ranked second in the conference in punt return yards. His touchdown return marked the first by a Utah player since 2021 and the first by a freshman since 2015.
