Karson Kaufusi is a 6'6", 305-pound linebacker/defensive tackle for the Utah Utes. A native of Holladay, Utah, he attended Skyline High School, where he was rated a four-star recruit and ranked the No. 1 defensive tackle prospect in Utah. Kaufusi appeared in 12 games during the 2025 season, totaling 13 tackles with 0.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sack. He recorded three stops in his Utah debut against UCLA and posted five additional multi-tackle performances, including in the Las Vegas Bowl against Nebraska. Now a sophomore, Kaufusi returns to the defensive line for the 2026 season.
