Johnathan Hall, a 6'1" linebacker from Katy, TX, arrived at Utah as a three-star recruit in 2023 and initially played safety before transitioning to linebacker in 2024. Through 38 games with 17 starts, Hall has recorded 67 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks in 2025. That season, he started all 13 games and earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention honors while adding one interception and four pass breakups. His standout performance included a career-high 10 tackles against Texas Tech and 2.0 sacks in the Colorado victory.
