Trestin Castro is a redshirt freshman cornerback for USC who enrolled in spring 2025 after graduating early from Upland High School in California. A four-star recruit, he appeared in 2 games during his true freshman season in 2025, recording 1 tackle against Georgia Southern. In high school, Castro was a two-way player who accumulated 25 tackles with 4 for loss as a senior, along with 2 interceptions returned for 25 yards and 4 pass breakups on defense. He also caught 17 receptions for 257 yards and 2 touchdowns. Castro will compete for playing time as a redshirt freshman in 2026.
