RJ Sermons is a cornerback for the USC Trojans who reclassified from the 2026 recruiting class to the 2025 class. A four-star recruit from Rancho Cucamonga High School in San Bernardino, California, Sermons did not see action as a true freshman in 2025. In his junior year at the high school level in 2024, he appeared in six games and recorded 34 tackles with 1 sack, while accumulating 384 yards in kick returns and 1 touchdown. As a redshirt freshman in 2026, Sermons will compete for playing time at the cornerback position.
