Rey Sanchez is a punter for the USC Trojans majoring in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Economics. The Carson, California native played varsity football at Carson High School in 2021 before attending Long Beach City College. In 2023, his final season at Long Beach CC, Sanchez averaged 33.8 yards per punt across 40 attempts with a long of 53 yards, placing 14 punts inside the 20-yard line. He did not appear in games during the 2024 and 2025 seasons at USC. Sanchez earned placement on the 2025 Fall Big Ten All-Academic Team and will compete for punting duties as a redshirt senior in 2026.
