Marcus Ross is a fifth-year linebacker for UL Monroe, standing 6'2" and weighing 230 pounds. Originally from New Hebron, Mississippi, Ross attended Jefferson Davis County High School before playing at East Mississippi CC, where he recorded 77 tackles, 7 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks in 13 games during the 2023 season. He transferred to Mississippi State for the 2024 season but appeared in just one game before redshirting due to injury. In 2025, Ross participated in all 12 games for the Warhawks, registering 35 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and 2 quarterback hurries while earning a start against Old Dominion.
