Trent Jones II is a 6'3", 285-pound right defensive end from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, who transferred to UConn from Iowa State. A redshirt senior/true redshirt in 2025, Jones wears number 89 for the Huskies. In his first season with UConn, he recorded 28 total tackles, including 13 solo stops, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks.
