Markus Kier is a 6'2", 190-pound wide receiver from Mission Viejo, California, who attended Orange Lutheran High School after previously playing at Loyola and Mission Viejo high schools. A three-star recruit ranked 199th at his position nationally by recruiting services, Kier caught 38 passes for 414 yards (10.9 yards per catch) in 11 games during his 2025 senior season at Orange Lutheran, including a 143-yard, six-reception performance against Mount Miguel in September 2024. At Loyola, he recorded 75 receptions for 949 yards and 11 touchdowns over 13 games as a junior. Kier is a true freshman at UCLA and plans to major in business economics.
