Major Pride is a 6'2" wide receiver from Stockton, California, who attended Canyon Springs High School. A three-star recruit ranked as the 220th wide receiver nationally by national outlets, Pride recorded 48 receptions for 855 yards and 11 touchdowns across his sophomore and junior seasons. As a junior in 2024, he caught 32 passes for 572 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 52 rushing yards and two touchdowns on four carries as Canyon Springs finished 8-6. Pride transferred to Bishop Montgomery High School for his senior year but did not compete due to ineligibility. He enrolled at UCLA as a true freshman for the 2026 class.
