The 5'11", 217-pound true freshman from Palos Verdes, California, prepped at Palos Verdes High School, where he earned 2023 Bay League Defensive Player of the Year honors after recording 74 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and six sacks during his senior season. He was a three-time All-Bay League selection and helped lead Palos Verdes to a 10-0 regular season record in 2023.
