Hall Schmidt is a 6'6", 317-pound right tackle from Gig Harbor, Washington, who spent three years at Boise State before transferring to UCLA. A three-star recruit in the 2022 class, Schmidt redshirted as a true freshman in 2022 before appearing in two games as a redshirt freshman in 2023. In 2024, he started all 12 games at right tackle for the Broncos, allowing one sack across 329 opportunities. That season, he blocked for running back Ashton Jeanty while helping Boise State rush for 3,365 yards—the most in the program's FBS history—and its offense ranked eighth nationally (466.0 yards per game). Schmidt earned Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Mountain West honors. He appeared in two games during the 2025 season before joining UCLA as a redshirt senior transfer.
