Aiden Gobaira is a 6'4", 261-pound right defensive end from Fairfax, Virginia who transferred to UCLA for the 2026 season. A four-star recruit in the 2022 class ranked 168 nationally, Gobaira redshirted as a true freshman at Notre Dame in 2022 before missing the 2023 season due to injury and sitting out 2024 after medically retiring. He played the 2025 season at James Madison, appearing in all 14 games with one start and posting 38 tackles (18 solo), 7.5 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks en route to earning All-Sun Belt Third Team honors as the Dukes reached the College Football Playoff.
