Will Stone is a placekicker and kickoff specialist from Austin, Texas, who attended Regents School before joining Texas. A three-star recruit ranked 1722 overall in the 2022 class, Stone played in all 13 games as a freshman in 2022, handling kickoffs for 86 attempts totaling 5,369 yards (62.4 avg) with 26 touchbacks. In 2023, he appeared in all 14 games and recorded five tackles while converting 96 kickoffs for 6,130 yards (63.9 avg) and 49 touchbacks, earning 2023 Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors. During his 2024 junior season, Stone played in all 16 games, accumulating 98 kickoffs for 6,236 yards (63.6 avg) with a career-high 56 touchbacks, ranking fifth in the SEC.
