Tyler Gibson is a 6'5", 308-pound left guard from Atlanta, Georgia, who attended Johns Creek High School. A three-star recruit rated 0.8822 overall and ranked 537 nationally in the 2022 class, he began his college career at Georgia Tech in 2022, appearing in two games against Florida State (Oct. 29) and Virginia Tech (Nov. 5) while earning a redshirt. In 2023, Gibson played in two contests for the Yellow Jackets against South Carolina State (Sep. 9) and Virginia (Nov. 4). He transferred to Charlotte, where he appeared in six games in 2024 primarily as a reserve tackle following an early fall camp injury. At Charlotte in 2025, Gibson played in all 12 games with six starts at right tackle, earning his starts in the final six contests of the 49ers' season. He now transfers to UCF.
