Mason Denaburg is a redshirt freshman punter/holder at UCF from Merritt Island, Florida. A two-way athlete in high school, he earned First Team All-State honors as a punter his junior year before pursuing baseball his senior season, competing in the 2017 PerfectGame All-American Classic. Selected 27th overall in the 2018 MLB Draft by the Nationals, Denaburg pitched 157.1 innings across 88 minor league games from 2019 to 2024, compiling an 11-9 record with 139 strikeouts and one save. He made 21 starts between rookie ball and high-A affiliates. In 2025, Denaburg appeared in one game for the Knights, serving as holder on an extra point against North Carolina A&T on September 6.
