Cooper Terpstra is a center from Holland, Michigan who joined UCF as a transfer from Michigan State. At West Ottawa High School, he earned first-team all-state honors from The Associated Press and was named to the Detroit Free Press Dream Team. Terpstra arrived at Michigan State as a walk-on in 2023 and redshirted. During the 2024 redshirt freshman season, he appeared in 10 games and made 36 special teams appearances while logging 36 snaps at center across two contests. In 2025, his redshirt sophomore year at Michigan State, he played in 10 games and made his first career start at center against Maryland on November 29, finishing as the team's highest-rated offensive lineman in that game.
