Sterling Sanders is a 6'5", 305-pound nose tackle from Blythewood, South Carolina, who transferred to UAB from Boston College. A mid-year enrollee at Boston College in 2024, Sanders appeared in one game while maintaining his redshirt status. In his final high school season at Blythewood, he recorded 40 tackles, 17 tackles-for-loss, 5.5 sacks, and 23 quarterback pressures along with one rushing touchdown. He earned Preseason All-State honors and selection to the Preseason Mr. Football watch list, and competed at the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
