Sean Persson is a tight end from Spanish Fork, Utah, who attended Maple Mountain High School. As a senior, he recorded 28 receptions for 591 yards and five touchdowns while also contributing 28 tackles, three interceptions, and two breakups on defense. He earned first-team all-region honors and All-Valley honorable mention. After high school, Persson attended Citrus CC in 2024, where he led the Owls with 26 receptions for 364 yards and six touchdowns. He also carried the ball twice for 30 yards and punted twice. Persson transferred to Toledo before joining UAB as a redshirt sophomore in 2026. He did not appear in game action during his time at Toledo.
