Ryder Burton is a quarterback for UAB who transferred from West Virginia. The 6'2", 200-pound Springville, Utah native redshirted at BYU in 2023 after enrolling mid-year. He saw no action at West Virginia in 2024 before joining the Blazers. In 2025, Burton appeared in nine games and made two starts. Against No. 22 Memphis on 10/18, he completed 20 of 27 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-24 win, earning Manning Star of the Week honors.
