Rod Robinson II is a 6'1", 235-pound running back from San Diego, California, who transferred to UAB after three seasons at Georgia. At Lincoln High School, Robinson was a consensus four-star prospect and 2022 MaxPreps California Player of the Year, recording 2,378 rushing yards and 39 touchdowns as a senior while leading Lincoln to a 13-1 record and CIF Division I-AA State Championship. He enrolled at Georgia early and appeared in five games during 2023, amassing 196 rushing yards and two touchdowns. In 2025, Robinson saw action in 10 games as a reserve back, including posting 25 rushing yards on four carries and a 12-yard reception against Charlotte, and catching a touchdown in the SEC Championship victory over Alabama.
