Jaylen Elder is a 5'11", 160-pound wide receiver from Madison, Georgia, who attended Morgan County High School as a three-star recruit. In high school, he recorded 141 catches for 2,313 yards and 26 touchdowns, while adding eight carries for 181 yards and three touchdowns. Elder led Georgia in receptions and receiving yards during 2024 and tied for the state lead in receiving touchdowns. As a freshman at UAB in 2025, he appeared in six games with one start versus Tulsa on 11/29. He recorded one catch for nine yards against South Florida on 11/22 and one carry for four yards against North Texas on 11/15.
