Courage Ugo is a 6'0", 190-pound defensive back from Richmond, Texas, where he played for Richmond Foster High School. At Foster, he recorded 70 tackles over his prep career along with 2.0 sacks, 6.0 tackles for loss, 20 pass breakups, two interceptions, and two blocked kicks, earning All-District 10 recognition his senior year. Ugo played at Blinn Junior College in 2023, appearing in nine games with 20 tackles, nine pass breakups, and two interceptions. He then spent time at Utah State in 2025, recording four tackles with two starts across the first three games before an injury ended his season. Ugo is a returning redshirt senior at UAB.
