Chris Spencer is a 6'5", 290-pound defensive tackle from Burgaw, North Carolina, who attended Pender High School. A two-star recruit ranked as the No. 52 prospect in North Carolina, Spencer earned First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-Coastal Preps Defense honors before being selected for the NC vs. SC All-Star Game. He redshirted in 2022, then appeared in one game in 2023 before playing in six games in 2024 with two tackles. At Old Dominion in 2025, Spencer played in 12 games, recording seven tackles and a sack, including his first career sack against Troy. He joins UAB as a transfer.
