Tai Newhouse is a nose tackle for Tulsa who hails from Lawrence, Kansas, where he attended Lawrence Free State HS. A redshirt senior and returning team captain, Newhouse has appeared in 28 career games with 24 starts. During the 2025 season, he started all 12 games and recorded 39 tackles (9 solo), 1.5 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks. He has earned academic all-conference recognition three times and was named 2025 CSC Academic All-District. Career totals include 72 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
