Rylan Leathers is a 6'0", 190-pound free safety from Amarillo, Texas, who spent his first two years at Idaho State before transferring to Tulsa. At Idaho State, he appeared in 14 games and recorded 103 career tackles. During the 2025 season, Leathers posted 101 total tackles with 63 solo stops and 38 assists, along with 4.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, one interception, two forced fumbles, and one blocked kick. He earned Big Sky Second Team All-Conference honors and set a career high with 14 tackles against Northern Arizona on October 25, 2025. Leathers currently competes as a redshirt sophomore/transfer for the Golden Hurricane.
