JD Drew is a 6'0", 170-pound right cornerback from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who transferred to Tulsa from Utah State for the 2025 spring semester. A three-star recruit ranked 1604th nationally in the 2022 class, Drew appeared in 28 games with 15 starts at Utah State, recording 76 tackles (50 solo), one tackle for loss, eight pass breakups, one interception and one forced fumble. In 2024, he appeared in all 12 games with nine starts, tallying 45 tackles (31 solo) and earning a season-high seven tackles at Wyoming. For Tulsa in 2025, Drew appeared in 12 games with 11 starts, posting 24 tackles (13 solo), two pass breakups and a season-high six tackles against Tulane and East Carolina.
