Chris Thompson Jr. is a 6'3", 245-pound linebacker from Duncanville, Texas who transferred to Tulsa from Southern Cal, enrolling mid-semester. He spent three seasons at Southern Cal and one at Auburn before joining the Golden Hurricane. In 2024, his first year at Tulsa, Thompson appeared in all 12 games with three starts, recording 49 tackles (28 solo, 21 assisted), four and a half tackles for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble. His career collegiate total stands at 78 tackles, five and a half tackles for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble. Thompson served as a team captain in 2025 but did not see action due to injury.
