Chris Gacayan II is a tight end from Axtell, Texas, who transferred to Tulsa from Mary Hardin-Baylor (NCAA DIII). At UMHB, he appeared in 20 games over two seasons, catching 14 passes as a true freshman in 2023 for 178 yards and five touchdowns while earning Third Team All-ASC and Academic All-ASC honors. In his sophomore year, he appeared in 12 games, recording 18 receptions for 230 yards and three touchdowns en route to Second Team All-ASC recognition. Gacayan made his Tulsa debut on August 30, 2025, against Abilene Christian and appeared in two games during his first season with the Golden Hurricane.
