Trace Johnson is a quarterback for the Tulane Green Wave. The 6'1", 186-pound true freshman hails from Laguna Niguel, California, where he attended Santa Margarita HS. Johnson was a three-star recruit rated by recruiting services. At Santa Margarita, he played under Carson Palmer, the 2002 Heisman Trophy winner. As a junior, Johnson led California's 6A classification with 3,522 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, and two rushing touchdowns. His sophomore season saw 2,844 passing yards and 35 passing scores. Johnson also plays baseball at Santa Margarita.
