Oliver Mitchell Jr., a 6'1" wide receiver from New Orleans, LA, attended Edna Karr High School, where he was rated a three-star prospect by recruiting services. As a junior, he helped Karr reach a 10-2 record and the Louisiana Division I Select state semifinals. Mitchell also competed in track and field, posting times of 23.62 in the 200-meter dash and 54.37 in the 400 as a junior.
