In 2024, McClure appeared in five games, carrying 20 times for 121 yards and a touchdown; he also caught one pass for 24 yards against UAB on October 5. During the 2025 season, the redshirt sophomore logged 83 rushing attempts for 540 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 3 receptions for 8 yards.
