Dorion Jackson is a safety who transferred to Tulane from Troy University. A native of Wetumpka, Alabama, Jackson played safety and receiver at Wetumpka High School, where he recorded 65 tackles, two interceptions and four pass breakups as a senior while catching eight passes for 165 yards. At Troy, he appeared in five games during 2023, redshirting that season, and played 38 defensive snaps over six games in 2024, finishing with three tackles and a pass breakup. He also contributed 81 special teams snaps on kickoff coverage and punt return units.
