Bio

Dawson Johnson is a tight end who transferred to Tulane from Old Dominion. The 6'3", 232-pound Denver, Colorado native attended Cherry Creek High School, where he recorded 28 receptions for six touchdowns and led his team to an 11-1 record during his senior year. He earned all-league and all-state honors and helped the school win three consecutive Colorado High School State Championships. Johnson redshirted at Florida before playing the 2025 season at Old Dominion, where he caught 10 passes for 99 yards and a touchdown, including two receptions for 24 yards in a victory over Virginia Tech and two catches for 17 yards with a touchdown at James Madison.
