Seth Elchert is a wide receiver for the Toledo Rockets. The 6'3" true freshman from Findlay, Ohio, attended Liberty-Benton High School, where he earned three-star recruit status from recruiting services. Playing both wide receiver and safety, Elchert collected four all-league honors at receiver and three at safety. He recorded 1,052 receiving yards in a single season and set nine school receiving records. Elchert holds the OHSAA record with 47 consecutive games featuring a reception and ranks among the state's career leaders in receptions, touchdowns, and receiving yards. He helped Liberty-Benton capture three Blanchard Valley Conference titles and also competed in basketball and baseball. Elchert plans to major in business.
