Nicholas Thompson is a safety for Toledo standing 6'2" and weighing 206 pounds. A three-star recruit from Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Thompson redshirted in 2023 and appeared in all 13 games as a freshman in 2024, recording eight tackles. In 2025, he played in all 13 games and registered 24 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. Thompson is a returning redshirt sophomore majoring in management and has earned Academic All-MAC honors.
