Spencer Barnett is a placekicker for Texas from Austin, Texas, where he attended Westlake High School. Barnett redshirted during his freshman season in 2024 without appearing in games. In 2025, he made his collegiate debut against Sam Houston on September 20 and handled kickoff duties in contests versus Arkansas on November 22, Texas A&M on November 28, and Michigan on December 31. He is a redshirt sophomore returning for the 2026 season.
