Maraad Watson is a 6'3", 333-pound nose tackle for the Texas Longhorns who transferred from Syracuse in spring 2025. The Irvington, New Jersey native appeared in 13 games with 11 starts as a true freshman at Syracuse, earning Freshman All-American honors and recording 31 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and a pass breakup. In his 2025 sophomore season at Texas, Watson appeared in 12 games with six starts, totaling 24 tackles, 2.0 sacks, 2.0 tackles for loss, and 5 quarterback hurries. He was named to the 2025-26 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll and has 22 career games played with 14 starts across both programs.
