John Turntine III is a true freshman offensive lineman for Texas, wearing No. 51. The 6'4", 284-pound left tackle hails from Fort Worth and attended North Crowley High School, where he earned four-star recruit status from multiple outlets. As a senior, he was named to the Dallas Morning News/SportsDayHS All-Area First Team and helped North Crowley reach a 12-1 record. During his junior year, he contributed to the program's 16-0 season and state championship. Turntine also competed in track and field in high school. He early enrolled in spring 2026 and currently holds no 2025 statistics.
