A consensus three-star prospect from Klein Forest High School in Houston, Spence played in 23 games with five starts at Arkansas before joining the Longhorns. In his 2025 junior season at Texas, he appeared in 12 games, recording 12 solo tackles, 9 total tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and 2 quarterback hurries.
