Michael Dever is a 6'1", 195-pound wide receiver from Lubbock, Texas, who attends Lubbock-Cooper High School. A four-star recruit in the 2025 class, he committed to Texas Tech on July 4, 2024, after initially pledging to Colorado State. As a senior, Dever set a school single-season record with 1,206 receiving yards on 68 catches and five touchdowns while earning District 2-5A Offensive MVP. During his redshirt freshman season in 2025, he appeared in four games, including the Capital One Orange Bowl against Oregon, and recorded one reception for seven yards against Kent State.
