Waylon Peters is a true freshman punter at Texas A&M who enrolled in January 2026. The 6'4", 193-pound native of Montgomery, Texas lettered two years at his high school under coach Grant Cooper. Peters was ranked the No. 11 punter nationally by Kohl's Professional Camps and earned All-America Honorable Mention honors from the same organization. He also received UIL Texas District 8-5A First Team All-District recognition. Over his high school career, Peters recorded 39 punts averaging 48.3 yards and placed 22 kicks inside the 20-yard line.
