Paxton Land is a redshirt sophomore quarterback for Texas A&M standing 6'4" and weighing 225 pounds. The Austin native from Westlake High School appeared in 27 games during his prep career, completing 161 of 266 passes for 2,304 yards and 27 touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2021, he appeared in four games with 13 completions on 16 attempts for 196 yards and four touchdowns when Westlake won the state championship. Land passed for over 1,500 yards in 10 games as a junior before suffering a season-ending injury. In 2023, he completed 49 of 94 passes for 593 yards and seven touchdowns, leading Westlake to a UIL 6A Division I state semifinal appearance. Land redshirted during the 2024 season.
