Hunter McKinney is a true freshman offensive lineman at Texas A&M, standing 6'3" and weighing 307 pounds. The Montgomery, TX native enrolled in January 2026 after a four-year career at Lake Creek High School under coach Pat Kennedy. At Lake Creek, McKinney lettered all four years and contributed to a program that compiled 34 victories while reaching district titles and consecutive playoff appearances as a freshman and sophomore. Over his final two seasons, he was part of an offense that accumulated nearly 2,000 rushing yards and 1,500 passing yards with 55-plus rushing touchdowns and 36 passing scores. McKinney comes from a notable football family: his father lettered four years at Texas A&M and played 10 seasons in the NFL, while his uncle was a two-time All-American at Texas A&M and a 2024 Hall of Fame inductee.
