DJ Hicks is a 6'3", 295-pound defensive tackle from Katy, TX who attended Paetow High School. A 5-star recruit ranked sixth nationally in the 2023 class, Hicks appeared in 11 games as a freshman in 2023, starting in the Texas Bowl against Oklahoma State, and recorded three tackles including one for loss and was in on a sack at Tennessee. In 2024, he played in all 13 games with a start in the Las Vegas Bowl, accumulating 26 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and one quarterback hurry across the season. Hicks returns as a senior in 2026.
