Ashton Funk is a 6'6", 322-pound center for the Texas A&M Aggies. A native of Katy, Texas, Funk was a 4-star prospect out of Tompkins High School, where he was coached by Todd McVey. As a junior, he earned UIL District 19-6A First Team and TSWA Class 6A First Team All-State honors, and was named a 2023 Houston TD Club Offensive Player of the Year finalist. During his 2024 freshman season, Funk appeared in games against McNeese and New Mexico State at left tackle, and played in the Las Vegas Bowl versus USC.
