Adonyss Currie is a 6'0", 174-pound left cornerback for Texas A&M. A consensus 4-star recruit from Lancaster, California, Currie was ranked No. 55 in the top-300 national recruit rankings and No. 3 overall in California by national outlets. He played his final two seasons at Quartz Hill High School under coach Russell Gordon, compiling over 1,500 receiving yards and 60 tackles while scoring nearly 30 touchdowns across both years. As a junior, he recorded 47 receptions for 865 yards and nine touchdowns alongside 35 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, and four interceptions, leading Quartz Hill to the CIF Division 11 state semifinals. Currie appeared in the 2024 Navy All-American Bowl and Polynesian Bowl. In 2025, his redshirt freshman season, he recorded one total tackle and 0.5 tackles for loss.
