Shamurad Umarov is a 6'7", 321-pound left guard for the Tennessee Volunteers. An early enrollee from Denmark High School in Alpharetta, Georgia, he arrived on campus in December 2022 and redshirted his true freshman year in 2023 after appearing in four games. He expanded his role in 2024 as a reserve guard, playing in 10 games across 66 offensive snaps while contributing on special teams. In 2025, Umarov earned a starting position at left guard, appearing in all 13 games with 10 starts and recording 758 offensive snaps without allowing a sack. He has played in 27 career games with 10 starts and is a three-time Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll selection.
