Sam Pendleton is a center for the Tennessee Volunteers who transferred from Notre Dame in January 2025. The 6'4", 315-pound lineman from Lawsonville, NC was a consensus four-star recruit out of Reagan High School. At Notre Dame, he appeared in 13 games with seven starts at left guard during the 2024 season and redshirted as a freshman in 2023. In his first year at Tennessee, Pendleton started all 13 games at center and recorded 814 offensive snaps while allowing only three sacks across his career. He made the 13th consecutive start in the Liberty Mutual Music City Bowl against Illinois.
