Dereon Albert is a nose tackle from Jackson Academy in Jackson, Mississippi, standing 6'1" and weighing 309 pounds. A four-star recruit ranked 383 nationally in the 2026 class, he earned top-40 defensive line recognition from both national outlets (No. 23) and recruiting services (No. 36). As a high school senior in 2025, Albert recorded 81 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and seven sacks in 13 games while helping Jackson Academy to an 11-1 record and the MAIS Class 4A – Division I State Title. Over his four-year prep career, he accumulated more than 300 tackles. Albert committed to Tennessee in July 2025, choosing the Volunteers over 31 other Division I offers, including 13 from Power 4 conferences.
